Development of Five Transformational Programs

THE FUTURE of ENGINEERING at INDIANA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY


IWU plans to offer one four-year degree program in Engineering upon final accreditation approval by the Higher Learning Commission. Within this program, students will choose to concentrate in civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or design engineering. IWU will also offer an Engineering minor.

WESLEY SEMINARY

SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 2009, Wesley Seminary has launched, celebrated its first graduates, constructed a building and experienced unprecedented enrollment growth. Through partnerships established with each of the Wesleyan universities, the seminary has gained a greater recognition within the Wesleyan denomination. There has been an emergence of a global focus and increased investment in the development of multilingual and global programs. The Spanish program has grown to 120 students.

MARCHING GIANTS

IWU’s Marching made its debut in Wildcat Stadium at the first football game of 2021. The Marching Wildcats consist of music and non-music majors playing instruments and performing as members of the color guard. The program complements the flourishing IWU football program and helps to prepare future Music Education students in the marching arts.
